“Ni-chome Noise Symphony”
Tokyo, 2011

Invited to a party at Hijouguchi in the underground 2-chome gay district of Shinjuku, Tokyo, the artist gathered in situ live field recordings. Samples were then analysed and dissected into 6 discreet sound scapes, and each sound scape was assigned a locker and played on continuous loop to create a cacophonous noise symphony. Exhibited alongside founding member of the Fluxus movement, Yoko Ono.
