WHY GO DIGITAL NOW AFTER A 15 YEAR HIATUS?
In 2009, I dropped my first album Eika—on vinyl. No digital, no CD, just the record. At the release, people asked, “How do I listen to it?” The answer? “On a turntable.” In hindsight, I was making a statement about capitalism, consumption, and creativity.
At the time, the music industry was spiraling, with digital downloads killing record stores. Fast-forward 15 years, and streaming services like Spotify have pushed music into the future, offering audiophiles better access to music than ever before. And while technology has changed how we consume, the shift has also transformed how we create and share culture.
Now, I’m excited to reintroduce my entire catalog to the digital world, making my music more accessible than ever. But don’t worry—those collectible vinyls? They’re still yours to own, a legacy for future generations.
