On Saturday 31 May 2025 I was invited to create a rare solo cello performance responding to the curatorial themes Loneliness, Rage, and Joy through sound and silence and ritual.
Presented at ACCA — Australian Centre for Contemporary Art – through the curatorial vision of its CEO and Creative Director Myles Russell-Cook, this improvisation marks contrapuntal’s soft re-emergence into the Melbourne contemporary art world as we begin our own fundraising journey to open our flagship studio in Fitzroy this year.
