THE POWER OF CREATION: Dom Perignon + David Lynch at FENDI TOKYO

A collaboration with champagne house Dom Pérignon in partnership with Diners Club International and CitiBank Japan.

Commissioned to compose, creatively direct the audio and visual design, perform live, and post produce the YouTube Commercial video for LVMH Moët Hennessy, Japan.

“The Power of Creation” song was inspired by Dom Pérignon’s 2003 vintage champagne, the commission including AV  compositions for 3 other champagne vintages, including the prized 1996 Oenothèque.

The conceptual and interactive installation featured a live surround sound recording of the Dom Pérignon Vintage 2003 champagne “bubbles”, recorded on a custom designed hydrophone in 4.0 ch surround sound.
This unique sound sample may be heard at the start and end of the YouTube video.

Skepper also creatively directed a 5 course degustation with Michelin Chef Takazawa, complemented by visual projections for each champagne vintage. Each course imagined a color, a natural element, and poetry describing and invoking the elegance of each champagne.

This premium event was presented to VIP clients of Louis Vuitton Moët Hennesey, Diners Club International and Citibank Japan at the FENDI Showroom “Space F” in Tokyo’s capital street of fashion, Omotesando, Tokyo.
