ECHOES: LIVE 2025

“ECHOES” is a live audio-visual performance that blurs the boundaries between classical traditions, visual art and contemporary sound design. The musical program weaves together Skepper’s most beloved compositions from his suite of six solo albums with new works. A showcase his mastery of grand piano, electric cello, modular synthesiser with cutting-edge electronics, ECHOES is an immersive multi-sensory experience.

Skepper’s music takes listeners on an emotional journey through themes of love, liberation and hope. The program includes crowd favourites like “For Our Freedom” and “My Toy Piano”, alongside new compositions, offering both longtime followers and new listeners a chance to immerse themselves in his sonic universe. His musical style connects him to contemporary and minimalist composers like Ludovico Einaudi, Max Richter, Phillip Glass and Ólafur Arnalds, positioning him at the forefront of innovative ambient and modern classical electronic and experimental music.

Melbourne/Naarm-born Benjamin Skepper returns to the iconic Fitzroy Town Hall for an intimate evening of music that spans his two decade journey as a groundbreaking solo contemporary artist. Following the recent release of 3 solo albums on streaming platforms after 15 years on vinyl only, Skepper invites audiences to experience the evolution of his artistry in a captivating live performance.

Returning to the Fitzroy Town Hall after a sell out show last year, this site-specific installation merges past and present, creating a deep listening experience that transcends time and space. Skepper’s considered approach to sound, technology and visual art, will transform the venue into a realm of artistic exploration and self-reflection.

Enhancing the sensory journey, a pop-up bar will feature artisanal beers by Japanese craft brewery COEDO as well as premium sake from 450-year-old Tsuki no Katsura in Kyoto, complemented by champagne from Laurent Perrier.
